Route: Start at Junction 21 on Old Hwy 20 West Bound, Turn Right (in Epworth) onto Gun Club Road, Turn Right onto Girl Scout Road, Turn Left onto Graf Rd, Right onto Graf/Five Points Road, Right on Potter Road and Right on Sundown (Finish at Sundown and Old Hwy 20).

Racers....USACycling Sanctioned Racers...race for time and prizes
Start Time will be 8:00 A.M. and each rider will start in 30 second intervals.
Limit of 90 Racers.
Prizes: Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Medals! Aero and Non Aero, Category 1-2-3-4-5.
Top 3 Master Rider over 40 and Top 3 Female (both aero and non aero) and Juniors. Bonus Prize for breaking an hour Aero and Non Aero. (Value: 1st=$50, 2nd=$30 and 3rd=$20).
Race Registration will close at 7:45 A.M. Ride Registration will close at 9:15 A.M.
Riders....Non-Sanctioned Riders will race for time and medals!
Start Time: 9:30 A.M.
Limit of 90 Riders
Medals: Aero and Non Aero, Male over 40, Women and Junior (Under 18)
Start Time will begin at 9:30 A.M. and each rider will start in 30 second intervals.
Failure to start with ride official will impact your time and the safety of the course.
Aero and Non-Aero Rules Riders and Racers:
Rules: Aero and Non-Aero Divisions and Category 1-2-3 and 4-5 (If you don't have a license but you want to race for prizes you are considered a category 5 and will have to purchase an annual or daily license for $15.00....go to USACycling.org for more information). Otherwise you will only ride for time and medals.
Aero: Anything goes with aero equipment...get your toys out and good luck up the 2 major climbs!
Non-Aero: Limit on 50 MM Rims or less, No Disc Wheels or Aero Bars of any kind. No Aero Helmets, No Skin Suits or Shoe Covers....totally old school! Standard Road Bicycle Set Up and Geometry Is Expected...nothing over the top....go to Aero if you have something unique or you think you need it! If you have one or more elements of "Aero" on you or you bicycle, you will be considered an "Aero" racer or rider and scored accordingly.
All bicycles will need to be equipped with brakes both front and rear and operational! There will be some fast descents to go with the climbs! Safety is our concern!
Day of Event Registration: Starts at 7:00 A.M. at JCT 21 7653 Old Highway Road Centralia, Iowa
First USACycling Racer is off at 8 A.M....Don't be late! First Rider is off at 9:30 A.M.
Feed Zone with water will be provided on Gun Club Road....don't stop....the hand off will be on a steep hill!
Helmet Required! Licensed Required (for all USACycling Event)! No SAG Support! We will send out a vehicle, but not until after the last rider.
Event will be rain or shine....No Refunds!
Prizes Valued at: $800.00
2 Bonus Prize (to be determined): Top Time Aero and Non Aero (must break an hour).
Entry Fee for the August 17th, 2014 event will be $30.00. Registration will be limited to 90 Racers and 90 Riders, due to the anticipation of significantly higher number of individual participants from the Gran Fondo of Dubuque on August 16th, 2014.
August 10th, 2014 the entry fee will increase to $35.00 and day of entry event $40.00 (Cash Only)
